About ToploTable

ToploTable is a collection of recipes that actually work. No TV competition dishes, no techniques requiring restaurant equipment, no ingredients that need to be ordered from specialist importers.

Every recipe is written so that it can be made in a normal kitchen, with a normal supermarket shop. If something is on the ingredient list, it matters. If a step isn't there, it isn't needed.

Cooking philosophy

Good cooking isn't magic — it's understanding what you're doing and why. Temperature, timing, order — these aren't the author's whims, they're chemistry and physics. ToploTable tries to explain this at every step, rather than hiding it behind "cook until tender".

There are no recipes here for dishes you make once in a lifetime for a special occasion. Instead, there are ones worth knowing and returning to — pierogi, broth, tiramisu, croissant. Classics that make sense.

How the service works

Recipes are generated and edited with the help of AI (Claude by Anthropic), then tested and verified by hand. This isn't a one-person blog — it's an attempt to build a reliable, multilingual culinary library accessible to everyone.

The service is free and supported by display advertising (Google AdSense). This keeps all recipes open and accessible — no registration, no fees.

The service is available in eight languages: Polish, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian and Ukrainian. Regional recipes are grouped by world cuisine.
